Costa Rica Air Wing Receives Avionics Instruments With Merida Funds

San Jose- March 19, 2010

As part of the U.S. Embassy’s continuing Merida Initiative support to Costa Rica’s Ministry of Public Security, three Aspen Avionics instruments were donated today to the Costa Rican Air Wing (SVA). These instruments, valued at about $9,000 each for a total donation value of $27,000, will be fitted into three of the SVA’s aircraft and help enable these aircraft to fly in all-weather conditions.
